How to register Original D&D Discussion (ProBoards)?

Post by seandon4 »

Hi: I'm going out on a limb here, but does anyone know how to register with the proboard OD&D group?

http://odd74.proboards.com/

I have a "global account" with proboards, but whenever I click "register" for Original D&D Discussion, it says:

"Registration is disabled on this forum."

I looked around for some sort of instructions, welcome page or way to contact the admins, but I'm at a lose.

Any advice?

Yeah, we were having SPAM issues so I closed the gates to general registration, but that doesn't mean folks can't get in. They just need to let me know and we'll go through a process.

Proboards has a feature where I type in an e-mail address and it sends off an invite to a specific individual so he/she can get past the block.

Unfortunately, those automatic invites seem to get lost sometimes (maybe caught by SPAM filters?) and so I can disable the block for a short time to allow a person to register, then I "raise shields" again.

We're not trying to be exclusive, but I just want to control the SPAM.
